3-2-1 Thursday by James clear

Hello dear readers, today I am going to share with you an important tool or Knowledge through which you can learn daily as well as just by taking out your few seconds every day, in order to achieve the higher level of self-development and personal success.

This is a kind of newspaper coming every week on Thursday. It contains 3 ideas 2 quotes and 1 question for your success and development.

So this Mailing service was created by Mr. James clear author of Atomic Habits and other successful articles and creation. You can also subscribe here on this link for free jamesclear.com

I am going to share with you the same mail I got received at every Thursday, with my personal opinion as well as some brief explanation.

Topic: - Decision making, Value of friends and self-improvement: -

3 Ideas from James: -

1- “progress requires unlearning”: - By this idea, James states that to continue moving forward or keeping your progress constant throughout your success definition you have to upgrade your memory as well as your thought process which in turn will change the whole you. It’s simple sentence but those three words are most powerful if we consider them as practical application on self. Unlearning is so underrated process throughout the courses of self improvement and personal development, that many of us who succeed uses it but still doesn’t know about this property of human. Truly Unlearning is a great Filter valve which can be used to refine your thinking, thoughts and decisions to be measured on various ground realities and that’s what the great leaders do.

2- "Live with a bias toward action”: - Ironically, this will teach you patience. When you take action each day, you learn the value of accumulating small improvements over time. You understand how daily habits compound. Be impatient with your actions. Be patient with your results."

3- "If a decision is reversible, the biggest risk is moving too slow.

If a decision is irreversible, the biggest risk is moving too fast."

:-  Reversible and irreversible decisions tend to the tangibility of decision that means is there any other plan if plan A fails or in other words the Backfall or Backup that we usually set in order to achieve something. So if you have anything to backfall then keep the actions as speed as possible and if they have no backup then put your every step accurately with detailed vision and planning.

2 Quotes

“Friends are better than money. Almost anything money can do, friends can do better. In so many ways a friend with a boat is better than owning a boat.”—KEVIN KELLY

"You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end, each of us must work for his own improvement, and at the same time share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be most useful."—MARIE CURIE.

1 Question to ponder

Imagine each day is only 12 hours long. What would you cut out?

SELF DEVELOPMENT ACROSS THE LIFE SPAN

Self-Development across the Life Span A.       Developmental Changes in Self-Descriptions   In this sense, we have been reviewing evidence applicable to the development of the I . We have yet to consider, however, the development of the ME. A focus on the ME would lead us to ask: How do people’s thoughts about themselves change with age?   For example, do 6-year olds think of themselves differently than 16-year olds? Research in this area suggests the following developmental trends. 1.        Early childhood (ages 2-6) Gender and age appear to be the first characteristics applied to the self. By age two, most children correctly identify themselves as a boy or a girl, although they may not be fully aware that gender is constant until several years later. At this age, children also tend to describe themselves in terms of concrete, observable characteristics (e.g., I have brown hair; I have an o...

Nelson Mandela's Sayings

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background, or his religion,. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite. Any man or institution that tries to rob me of my dignity will lose. I have walked that long road to freedom. I have tried not to falter, I have made missteps along the way but I have discovered the secret that climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb. I have taken a moment here to rest, to steal a view of the glorious vista that surrounds me, to look back on the distance I came. and I dare not to linger for my long walk is not ended. I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid. But he who conquers the fears. If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you ta...

Economic development of community

The economic development of community Definition The process of creating wealth through the mobilization of human, financial, capital, physical and natural resources to generate marketable goods and services. The economic developer’s role is to influence the process for the benefit of the community through expanding job opportunities and the tax base. The purpose of community development is to produce assets that may be used to improve the community, and the purpose of economic development is to mobilize these assets to benefit the community GROWTH VS DEVELOPMENT Growth by itself could be either an improvement or a detriment to a community. For instance, a facility that paid very low wages might open in an area and the population and overall size of the economy might increase, but per capita, incomes might fall, and the quality of life might suffer. Such growth could bring more congestion, pollution, and other negative externalities without a commensura...
